I’m a huge fan of family time. I get so wrapped up in being connected that sometimes I need to loose connection to bring me back to reality. Fortunately there is terrible reception in the mountains of New Mexico.
After they got their fill of skiing we went exploring. We were in the middle of what I would call a snow storm, but I’m sure the locals would just call it a light dusting. :p Needless to say we had it all just about to ourselves! The Taos River Gorge is stunning covered in snow. I didn’t get a good shot of it because someone fell with my camera in hand! Oops!
I loved the entire Enchanted Circle. We made the circle two full times and parts of it several more. It’s so beautiful. Steaven even made me drive on the ice on one of the passes. I can now say I’ve done it, but I don’t care to do it again.
The picture above is at Red River. It’s so adorable with all of the wooden buildings and snowy streets. It’s snuggled between mountains so it has that small town feel. Olivia says it has the best slopes, so take that from our little future pro. 😉
It’s hard to come back to reality after such a wonderful trip spent with my favorite people. I know you aren’t supposed to wish your life away, but man I can’t wait until next time!
